Shooblog Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-10-02 · Text pending legal review

1. Service and accounts

조지컴퍼니 (JOJI COMPANY, “we”) provides Shooblog for creating blogs, writing manually or with AI assistance, storing drafts and images, and publishing at the user's choice. No official writing API is offered. Prices and AI budgets appear on the plan page. Section 6 below governs renewal, cancellation and refunds.

Use accurate account information and obtain permission for your materials. Age limits and parental consent requirements will be finalized for the countries served. We will announce material changes before they apply, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.

2. Content and AI

Users are responsible for reviewing and publishing AI-made text and images. Check facts, copyright, trademarks, likeness rights, defamation, privacy, advertising disclosures and applicable law before publishing. An AI-provided source or image is not proof of permission.

AI output may contain errors, bias, similar content or rights violations. We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, copyright eligibility, exclusive ownership or any particular result. This does not transfer our own statutory duties or exclude liability that law does not allow us to exclude.

You retain the rights you have in your materials and grant only the storage, conversion, display and transmission rights necessary to operate the service. Public posts and images are accessible to visitors and search services; removing our copy cannot recall outside copies. Stored data and purposes are described in the privacy section.

3. Restrictions and moderation

Infringement, defamation, privacy violations, illegal or harmful material, spam, impersonation and service disruption are prohibited. We may immediately hide or remove posts and restrict or suspend access in response to reports, legal demands or verified violations. Repeat infringement may lead to termination. When possible we provide reasons and an opportunity to respond; urgent action and legally restricted notices are exceptions.

Privacy and illegal/harmful reports immediately disable access pending review; other reports await an operator decision. A restriction is not an infringement finding or deletion. Author hiding remains independent. Restoring one report does not clear other blocking reports or removal decisions, and does not publish a post the author has hidden.

4. Reports and copyright procedures

A report identifies the blog handle and post number, category (copyright, defamation, privacy, illegal/harmful or spam), specific details and contact email. A name is optional; an original URL is required for copyright reports. Privacy and illegal/harmful reports about previously published posts immediately block public access pending review. Defamation, copyright and spam reports leave the post public until an operator reviews it and decides whether to hide it. Anti-abuse frequency limits apply. Authors see only the category, not the reporter's identity, and may submit one response per report. Additional formal documents can be submitted to the contact below.

Korean OSP procedure

A rightsholder or authorized agent submits the statutory request identifying the work, offending location, infringement, contact details and evidence of ownership or authority. We immediately stop reproduction/transmission and issue required notices to the claimant and author. The author may request resumption with evidence of permission, ownership or other lawful entitlement.

Under the current Enforcement Decree, cessation notices are sent within three days, and entitlement is determined within three days of a resumption request. If established, a resumption date between seven and fourteen days after the request is notified to the claimant. A notified infringement lawsuit prevents resumption as provided by law. Unfounded cessation or resumption demands can create damages liability. Korean Copyright Act Article 103, Enforcement Decree Articles 40–43

US DMCA-style notice and counter-notice

A formal notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the rightsholder or authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list, and the original location.
  3. Identification and a precise location of the allegedly infringing material.
  4. The reporter's postal address, telephone number and contact email.
  5. A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, agent or law.
  6. A statement of accuracy and, under penalty of perjury, authority to act for the owner.

A formal counter-notice must include the author's signature; the removed material and former location; a statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; name, address and telephone number; consent to the relevant US Federal District Court's jurisdiction (for a non-US address, a district where the provider may be found); and acceptance of service of process from the original claimant or agent. Under that procedure we forward a compliant counter-notice to the original claimant and restore access between ten and fourteen business days after receipt, unless first notified of an action seeking a court order against the infringement. 17 U.S.C. §512(c), (g)

The short report and one-response form do not alone satisfy all statutory requirements. Supply missing formal elements using the contact below. A formal counter-notice may be shared with the other party to the extent legally required. Korean recipient designation and US DMCA agent registration/publication remain matters to finalize; this draft asserts neither completion nor safe-harbor eligibility.

5. Operation, disputes and operator

Maintenance or outages may interrupt service; material changes will be announced. Korean law is the default governing law, subject to mandatory local consumer protections and jurisdiction. Non-excludable operator liability remains intact.

6. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds

  • Monthly subscriptions charge the KRW amount shown at checkout. USD describes the AI budget. Card registration alone is free; only confirmed payments grant paid usage.
  • Cancel through Account → Plan & usage → Cancel subscription before the next payment is approved to stop the next renewal. Paid access and remaining usage continue until expiry. Cancellation alone does not refund a payment. For an in-progress charge, check its result and use the refund procedure below.
  • Unused payments: request a full refund within 7 days of payment if you have not used paid AI usage for that period. Card registration, signing in and reading posts are not AI usage. Using the free grant alone does not disqualify an unused paid-period refund.
  • After use: withdrawal for AI work already delivered is limited only as permitted by law. Undelivered separable usage and statutory remedies for outages or contract failures remain eligible. For delivery differing from advertising or the contract, request withdrawal within 3 months of delivery and within 30 days of discovering, or being able to discover, the issue. We do not reject all refunds because some usage was consumed. Support checks period usage, undelivered portions, outages and contract performance. The service currently supports full cancellations only: eligible payments are refunded in full without usage deductions or penalties.
  • Email contact@jojicompany.com with your signup email, payment date, order number from payment history and reason. For statutory withdrawal, refund action is taken within 3 business days of withdrawal; card statement timing depends on the issuer. A full refund ends that period's paid access. Refunding an upgrade restores an earlier paid period if still valid, without resetting consumed usage or the free grant.
  • Upgrades deduct the old price for unused whole days and start a new month today. Usage consumed in the current period is also deducted from the new budget, including successive upgrades. Downgrades apply on the next billing date.
  • Failed or overdue payments grant no new usage until approval is verified. Existing paid access continues until expiry. Renewals with uncertain approval are checked or retried with the same order by the hourly worker; use Check payment result. Definitively failed payments are not automatically charged under a new order. Contact support to restore billing. Skipped months and late fees are not charged. Expired subscriptions do not renew when payments reopen without a fresh customer payment action.

Mandatory consumer rights remain intact. Draft pending legal review (법률 검토 전 문안).
